I was invited to give the keynote to an incredible curated group of 100 investors and founders across the Swiss and EU AI ecosystem, at Signal 2026.

If I have any privileged insight or learnings it's from being able to sit at the intersection of:

  1. what founders and startups are building,
  2. what investors (VC/PE) are funding or acquiring,
  3. and what enterprise leaders are adopting or experiencing in trying to adopt

Putting this together creates a strong emerging picture of how far frontier labs and startups are versus the vast majority of users in the enterprise who are now adopting AI, but principally what AI means for them is something that looks like the ChatGPT consumer prompt. What the startup founders are building in truly agentic systems is manifestly different and only just starting to filter through.

Thank you Andrea Tassistro for the invitation and to the audience for the great discussion and participation. I really enjoyed the whole event, which spread over 36 hours.
